Bill Cosby was the first comedian to really grab my attention in a big way. His mastery at telling very funny stories was captivating and fascinating, and still is. As a kid I'd play his tapes and albums over and over again until I had them memorized. Today I listened to some classic Cosby on Spotify and a lot of the words that I fused into my brain as a youth are still there. Thanks Mr. Cosby for inspiring humor in me at a very early age!
Another link between Bill Cosby and this countdown to my 50th birthday is that in 1964 Bill Cosby released his second comedy album titled, "I Started Out as a Child." It's a very fitting title for me because I started out as a child in 1964 too.
