Marching Thru 30 Famous Faces - Number Twelve: King Kong

Out of all the famous faces I've drawn so far this month, none has had more influence on my love for drawing than the classic monster, King Kong. I was fascinated with gorillas as a young artist and I owned a few King Kong books with lots of cool photos that inspired many drawings. The version of Kong that I liked the best was from the original 1933 King Kong movie. That Kong didn't look like a real gorilla and had it's own unique look.
