| My daughter Hannah drawing me! |
This Saturday (March 9) I start drawing caricatures at the Creation Museum on Saturdays again after my winter break. This will be my third year drawing caricatures at the Creation Museum and I have some upgrades and changes for this year. When you visit the Creation Museum, please look for me! I'd love to draw you.
As I begin this next season of drawing faces, I'd like to know what kind of experiences you've had with caricature artists, so here are a few questions for you:
1. Have you had your caricature drawn before?
2. If yes, more than once? How many times?
3. What made you decide to have it or not have it drawn?
4. Was it just your face or did it include a body too?
5. Color or black & white? How long did it take?
6. Did you like the drawing? Why or why not?
7. Do you still have the caricature?
8. How much did you pay for the caricature?

9. Did the artist talk to you while he or she drew you?
10. Where were you when you had the caricature drawn?
Any other details you'd like to share would be helpful and much appreciated.
Thanks so much and see you at the Creation Museum ... on Saturdays!

I had one done when I was in electronics school. The school had a man come out and do them at their expense. He asked all of us either what our favorite thing was or if we had any funny nicknames.
ReplyDeleteMine was mostly head with a small body next to a computers because I told him I liked using them. It was drawn in color and I do still have it. For many years I have kept in a frame. I thought it was cool and is something I will treasure for the rest of my life.
