March is a great month and one reason for that is that it's the month my lovely wife was born. And this year I'd like as many people as possible to give her a gift. No, I'm not asking for money or anything like that. I would like you to give her some advice on which iPad apps have helped you the most. Or share with her a way of using an iPad that has been helpful to you. Marcia wears many hats here in our home and I'd love for her iPad to be a big blessing in those tasks.
Here is a list of areas of her life that may be helpful to you in advising her how to use her iPad. This iPad is the new "mini" and only has wifi, so no cell connection is possible:
Wife
Mother
Home school teacher
Student of the Bible
Finance organization
Paying bills
Cook
Book reader
Shopper
Coupon person
List maker
Event planner
Travel
Weather
Sudoku
Contacts info
Teaching piano to Hannah
To do list
Life organization
And anything else you find to be helpful.
Thanks so much for your help!
She could get fun game apps for foreign languages and such, being a home school teacher. You can literally google: "X app" and you'll find something. I hope that helps!

ReplyDeletewe like the app "One Thousand Gifts" by Ann Voskamp (www.aholyexperience.com) to start each day with a thankful heart. We use the bible app by Youversion which has an offline versions. We use the clock countdowns and stopwatches. The skyview free app is neat to see the stars/hubble sattelite. We use notes for lists. We use the merriam webster dictionary app. Scrabble is fun to have ongoing games with the four of us living at home. We use the iphoto to take pics and Fast Camera for time release shots. We use Facetime to talk to grandparents. Each app I mentioned is free!!! HAPPY BDAY
ReplyDeleteNo electronic device is complete without Kindle, Nook, i-books and CBDReader. There are hundreds of free books available from all genres. You can download fiction, non-fiction, bibles, children's books, sudoku, cookbooks, etc.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to You!
ReplyDeleteI like Olive Tree Bible app and YouVersion for Bible study, (and of course you have to have the AIG and CMI apps), and I like HomeAway for travel.
One of my favorite aps is Google Earth. You can virtually travel anywhere on the earth. Every once in a while I take a virtual trip to Australia to see the houses in which we lived lived and the changes in the cities.
ReplyDeleteThe ap is a wonderful addition to geography lessons.
